On July 3rd 1979, Pastor Charles and Janice Craig gave birth to their 3rd of 9 children, Ian. This young man grew up a Preachers kid and musician all of his life. Being in music and ministry from a young age, Ian saw the different aspects and nuances of leadership. He started playing in church at the age of 9. He also started playing for the Texas Northeast 1st Jurisdictional Choir at the age of 15. Around the same time, one of the members of the church prophesied to Ianand told him of the sickness that was about to befall him. She said that he wouldn’t receive healing until he lined up with God’s will for his life.

This sickness she spoke of materialized the next year when he was diagnosed with kidney failure and went on dialysis. To this day Ian attends dialysis 3 times a week. But even in his low times, he has written 4 sings during treatment. His testimony is “I’m not going to wait on him to perform, I’m going to “GO AHEAD AND DANCE!” Along the way Ian Has been blessed performed with such artist as Andre Crouch, Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark Cole, Judith McAllister, Rance Allen, Myron Williams, Bettye Nelson, Tramaine Hawkins, Byron Cage, Beverly Crawford, the Williams bros and many others. Ian Has said many times, if it’s not about souls, it doesn’t matter. Having been through his own struggles in life while in church, Ian has a heart for those who struggle with things but must keep on in ministry. “Sometimes we die from the pews because no one can handle the fact the we struggle with everyday life also.” So his ministry of change is not one that he hasn’t already experienced himself. He is dead-set on ministering not just to sinners and people of the world, but also the usher, the deacon, the choir member, the preacher, the first lady, the director, and the pew member who wants to be free.
